Order Placement
By placing an order at Schweden-Snus, you enter a purchase contract and agree to our terms & conditions. The sales contract then is subject to Swedish law, and becomes binding for both parties, once Schweden-Snus have registered your payment.
In order to buy tobacco products from Schweden-Snus.com, you must be at least 18 years of age or older. By placing your order and/or accepting these terms and conditions, you are indicating that you are of legal age to purchase tobacco.
Misrepresenting your age is a felony charge. Those found falsifying their age will be prosecuted by the law.
Coupon Codes
If you have a gift voucher or promotional code, you will be able to enter it in the checkout section, and the value will automatically be deducted from the order total within your shopping cart. Please note that only one code may be applied to any one order.
Shipping
All ordered products will be sent to you as soon as possible. The approximate shipping times to your desired shipping address will be presented during the checkout process. The delivery times depend on the destination country and shipment method selected.
Import Regulations and Customs
Please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges resulting from customs clearance are to be borne by you.
Some countries have limited or prohibited the import of tobacco products, or require the importer of tobacco products (which is you), to obtain a license.
Schweden-Snus.com cannot provide you with any information regarding any such restrictions and/or requirement or inform you about specific custom rules in your country of destination. Being the importer, you are personally responsible for obtaining up-to-date information on customs and import regulations applying to the import of smokeless tobacco products into your country of destination, and for paying any customs or import duty charges, taxes and/or fees your shipment might incur.
If you choose not to pay these charges and/or refuse or not collect the shipment, your package will not be released by customs, we will not issue a refund or replacement of your order, even if the products are being returned to us. Smokeless tobacco is a product that cannot be sold again after having been shipped once. The same applies to any orders that are being seized or held by customs due to a violation of the destination country’s import regulations.
Please also note that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities, and you as the importer have to comply with any laws and regulations of your destination country and any requests made by customs, including the provision of documents requested.

Once an order leaves our distribution center, we cannot be held liable for any delays caused by customs authorities.

What payment methods does Schweden-Snus offer?
We are pleased to accept orders by any of the following methods:
You may use Visa or MasterCard at Schweden-Snus. Online transactions are processed through a SSL (Secure Socket Layer)-secured server with a password protection. Please ensure that there are sufficient funds in your account to avoid delays or any other inconveniences.
Orders can also be placed by bank transfer if you prefer this. If you would like to pay by bank wire, please choose this payment method during checkout. Once you have confirmed your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail containing all necessary information for you to initiate the bank wire. As soon as your payment has reached our account, which usually takes just 2 – 5 business days, we will activate your order for shipping.
When selecting this payment method, please ensure that all bank wire fees are paid at your end, so the full order amount reaches our bank account. It is furthermore important, that you pay in the currency you have placed your order in.
If we do not receive the full amount, we will reduce your order with the corresponding value, plus a handling fee. If in doubt regarding how to initiate an international bank transfer, ensuring that the full amount reaches the recipient, please contact your bank and they will surely be able to help you.
If we have not received any payment within two weeks, your order will be cancelled.
Is it safe to make an online-payment at Schweden Snus?
Yes, it is safe to make a payment at Schweden-Snus. All transactions that are made via the payment gateway used by Schweden-Snus.com are securely sent through a SSL (Secure Socket Layer)-secured server with password protection. We use DIBS for electronic card transactions between your and our bank.
How does a bank transfer payment work?
When you pay by bank transfer, you place your products into your shopping cart, go to “Checkout” and continue with the order process. You will then reach the step where you are able to either bank transfer or credit card payment. Select bank transfer and finally confirm your order. Within just a few minutes, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail, containing all necessary information for you to initiate the bank transfer. As soon as your payment has reached our account, which usually takes just 2 – 5 business days, we will activate your order for shipping.
What is the CVV2 security code?
This Card Verification Number appears on the back of your credit card, within the signature field. The three last numbers printed there are your CVV2 code. This number helps to protect you from fraud, as it ensures that only the person being in physical possession of your card can make a payment if the CVV2 code is used.
Will I receive a confirmation e-mail?
Yes, once you have completed the ordering process, we will send you a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address registered within your customer account at Schweden-Snus.com. The confirmation e-mail will contain detailed information about your order, of course including the products purchased, shipping costs and more.
I have not received an order confirmation or instructions for the bank transfer, what should I do?

Check the card’s expiry date – has it passed? Have you entered it correctly?
Are there sufficient funds in your card account?
Have you completed all fields correctly? The card number and CVV2 code (the three last digits of the number on the back of your card, within the card signature field) have to be written in an unbroken sequence, do not use any spaces etc..
Lastly, errors might also be caused by a temporary rise in overall transaction or a downtime at one of the institutional servers involved. If you know that your card is working and does not bear any restrictions for international transfers, please retry later. If the problem persists, please contact your card issuer for further details.
Delivery
How is shipping done?
1. You place an order on Schweden-Snus.com.
2. As soon as you have confirmed your order, an order confirmation will be sent to your registered e-mail address.
3. We will send your products in one or several envelopes or boxes, depending on what you have ordered. Orders up to five rolls are usually sent in padded envelopes protecting the snus against damage. The envelopes are also very light and will not add to the shipping cost when you order. Depending on order size, UPS orders are sometimes being sent in a cardboard box.
4. When your order has been shipped, you will receive an e-mail from our distribution center.
5. Times of delivery depend on the destination country and shipping method selected when the order was placed. According to the Swedish Postal Service, postal delivery within Europe takes 2 – 5 business days, and 7 – 14 business days to destinations outside of Europe. Please find additional shipping alternatives further down in this document. If UPS shipping is selected, you will be able to track your order via a tracking link included in your order confirmation. The link can also be found within your customer account’s order history.
6. UPS require an (adult) signature upon delivery of your order, so please ensure that an adult is available to take receipt of your package at your selected shipping address.
Preliminary delivery times presented at our web site ONLY apply to products that are currently in stock at our warehouse.

Postal Delivery / Swedish Postal Service
Posten is one of the Nordic region’s largest messaging and logistics operators. Your order will be sent as 1st priority letter. The approximate delivery times are 2 to 5 business days within Europe and 7 – 14 business to countries outside Europe.
Postal orders do NOT bear a tracking number, and there is no possibility to track an order. We can therefore not accept any responsibility for your shipment once it has been sent.
Estimated delivery times serve only as guidance, and we cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by a shipping agent, postal service or the customs clearance process.
Packages lost due to a wrong of incomplete shipping address are not being replaced or refunded. Neither will we come up for any additional postage required in order to redirect a package to the correct address.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs depend on package weight, destination country and the selected shipping alternative. All shipping costs will be presented to you within the checkout process.
Can I track my order?
Order tracking is only available for UPS shipments. If postal delivery is selected, order tracking is unfortunately not available..
UPS shipments can be traced from within your customer account – just select “My Account” from the top of our web site or use the tracking link sent to you within your shipping confirmation.
The delivery option you selected will be indicated in your customer account’s order history. If you need to contact UPS, you can do so at www.ups.com . Please make sure to have your UPS shipping number available when inquiring about your shipment.
Is it possible to return an order I have received?
As snus is a fresh product which cannot be resold once it has been shipped once, we can unfortunately not accept any product returns. This applies to orders for the wrong product as well as cases where you have changed your mind.
Can I cancel my order?
Cancellation of a paid order is only possible as long as that order has not entered the shipping process.

I have received the wrong / a damaged product
You should always check your package upon receipt. Make sure that you have received the right products and that they are not damaged in any way. If the package is incomplete, the goods received are not what you ordered, are damaged or defective, you will have to inform us within 10 business days. Reclamations received at a later date will not be considered. To notify us of any such incident, please send us a message via our Contact page.
In cases of a valid claim, we will send replace the product in question. You should also claim any damages at your local post office / mail person or UPS upon receipt of a damaged package.
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure to deliver or any delays in delivery due to force majeure or to any unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. This also applies to any damages or defects of the products that are caused by any circumstance beyond our reasonable control.
