Göteborgs Rapé has a mild tobacco character with some sweetness and hints of fresh herbs and juniper berries. It was first launched in 1919 and later became the first white portion snus on the market.

Back when Göteborgs Rapé was released, most snus brands were named after a town. The word Rapé, which originates from France, was added to provide the brand with a more exclusive touch.

Today, Göteborgs Rapé is the fourth largest snus brand in Sweden, available as White Portion, Mini White Portion and Loose. Göteborgs Rapé No2, with its fruity lingonberry flavor, was launched in 2006 and in 2012, the latest member was added: White Large Lime, with a summerly flavor of Lime, mint and lavender .
